LITHIUM BATTERIES CANADA (LIFEPO4)
They are lightweight, maintenance-free, and fast-charging. Canbat lithium cells are UL certified and are designed with advanced LiFePO4 technology. The batteries offer 100% usable capacity at any rate of discharge, and long cycle life of about 2,500 cycles at a full depth of discharge (DOD). We offer the widest selection of lithium batteries in Canada, in a variety of BCI standard sizes for easy drop-in replacement.
Lithium batteries have a 20 times higher cycle life than conventional sealed lead-acid batteries. They also have a 5 times higher float life and are about 60% lighter in weight. Canbat lithium iron phosphate batteries are built with LiFePO4 cells, promoting an excellent battery cycle life and an enhanced safety performance. All Canbat lithium batteries have a built-in battery management system (BMS). The main features of the BMS are under-voltage protection during discharge, over-voltage protection during recharge, over-current protection, over-temperature cutoff, short-circuit protection, and single-cell equalization. Canbat LiFePO4 batteries are available in 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V.
SEALED LEAD ACID BATTERIES (SLA) CANADA
Every battery series is designed to meet specific applications. Lead-acid batteries are often referred to as valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA), and there are two types of these batteries: AGM and Gel. Each type of battery has several advantages over another. Selecting the appropriate battery type depends on your application.
We offer SLA batteries in multiple voltages. The most popular voltages are the 6V and the 12V batteries. It is important to select a battery with the correct voltage and capacity to ensure the best performance. Regardless of size, all of the batteries are maintenance-free and spill-proof.
SEALED LEAD CARBON BATTERIES
Canbat lead-carbon batteries are designed to recharge much faster than standard AGM batteries. This is particularly important in regions that don’t get enough on-grid power. The ultra-fast charging capability is made possible thanks to PSoC technology. Lead carbon batteries have a design life of over 12 years at 20°C (68°F) and shelf life of up to 2 years.
The improved cyclic performance and fast recharging capability make Canbat lead-carbon batteries the perfect choice for telecom backup, electric vehicles (EV), energy storage, renewable energy and hybrid Genset applications.
